Land

The unique qualities of Gower as an Area of Outstanding Natural Beauty, unsurprisingly attract millions of visitors every year. Gower is home to a multitude of recreational activities, many of which are closely associated with the sea. Gower boasts some of the best surfing and water-sport beaches in the UK, the peninsula has south, west and north facing beaches providing endless enjoyment for windsurfing, kite-surfing and kite-buggying. Canoeing, sailing and water skiing are also among the adventurous water sports to be enjoyed. The Gower Peninsula is well known for its sea fishing opportunities, of which Langland, Port Eynon, and Llangennith are favoured.

Back on land, jagged limestone cliffs present the perfect challenge for coasteering, caving and climbing enthusiasts. The array of beaches offers the ideal location for a thrilling canter across the sand on horseback. Gower is also home to some challenging golf courses in spectacular locations.
